Outlook Express Email Set-up To
set up your email to send from our SMTP server in Outlook Express you
open the Outlook Express program. Click on "Tools.” Click
on “Account.” Click
on the “Mail” tab.
Highlight your email account.
Click on “Properties” (see below).
"Server Information" Incoming mail server is a POP3 server, "Incoming mail (POP3):" you put in “mail.MYDOMAIN.COM” ( replacing MYDOMAIN.COM with your own domain name ) or you can use “mail.javabeanz.net” for your “Outgoing mail (SMTP):” You also put in the same name as you entered in the POP3 box, or you can use “mail.javabeanz.net” For "Incoming Mail Server" Account name: put in your full email address for Account name, and email password. Then on the bottom where it says: “Outgoing Mail Server” Check “My server requires authentication.” Then click on “Apply” and then click “OK” |
