For
our outgoing mail server to work you will need to check your email first, then
your IP address will be listed for only 15 minutes. If it has been over 15
minutes you will have to check your email again before you can send email.
To
set up your email to send mail from our SMTP server in Netscape Messenger you
open the Netscape Messenger program. Click on "Edit.” Click
on “Preferences.”
Click on the “Mail servers” tab.

Highlight
your email account.
Click on “Edit” (see below).
On the line for "Server Name:" put in
"mail.domain-name.com"
on the "Server Type:" make sure it has POP3 Server selected.
Then put in your email user name.
I check "Remember password" and also "Check for mail every 2
minutes"
That will keep you Internet connection active.
Then click "OK" and that will take you back to the Preferences window

In the "Outgoing Mail Server"
section, on the line for "Outgoing mail (SMTP) server:"
put in "mail.domain-name.com" on the line for "Outgoing mail
server user name:"
LEAVE THIS BLANK.
Click OK and you are ready to send your email from your domain.
